GUESS WHAT?
Ladies,
Needless to say it's Wednesday so Mother Nature is raising her ugly head. I have called Sun Hills and they don't answer so I guess league play is canceled once again.
That's strike 2. So, hopefully, we don't strike out next week!
BUMMER!!!

GOLF CANCELED!!!
Hey Ladies!
Guess what...we're rained out! If any of you have played today, you will get credit for your $3 next week.
The course will just transfer your t-times to the back nine for next week. No need to call.
If you didn't get a t-time for today, don't forget to call for one.
Gotta go build my ark...

April 14, Even Holes WINNERS! AMENDED
How amazing was this...we actually got to play on our first scheduled day!! Hopefully, this is the beginning of a perfect year.
Below are the lucky winners for "Best on Even Holes". CONGRATS!!!
Infortunately, I had to DQ a couple of scores because there was only scores for 8 of the 9 holes. Please be real careful with your scoring. Even if the POD does not include all of the holes, in order to get credit for the round, you must play and show your score for all 9 holes.

GOLF POEM
In my hand I hold a ball,
White and dimpled, Rather small.
Oh how bland it does appear,
This harmless looking little sphere.
By it's size I could not guess,
The awesome strength it does possess.
But since I fell beneath it's spell,
I've wandered through the fires of Hell.
It rules my mind for hours on end,
A fortune it has made me spend.
It has made me yell, curse and cry,
I hate myself and want to die.
It promises a thing called PAR,
If I can hit it straight and far.
To master such a tiny ball,
Should not be very hard at all.
But my desires the ball refuses,
And does exactly as it chooses.
It hooks and slices, dribbles and dies,
And even disappears before my eyes.
Often it will have a whim,
To hit a tree or take a swim.
With miles of grass on which to land,
It finds a tiny patch of sand.
Then has me offering up my soul,
If only it would find the hole.
It's made me whimper like a pup,
And swear that I will give it up.
And take to drink to ease my sorrow,
But the ball knows...
I'LL BE BACK TOMORROW!
