Thanks for the comment. We are meeting today and I will post the results tomorrow!

ISSUES
Hi Ladies,
Yesterday during league, we had a couple of issues occur that we need to deal with. One we can take care of right now, the other needs some thought by the Board in order to present you with some choices.
The issue that we can deal with right now is timeliness. Some of our members have been late for tee times and have not let Sun Hills know their running late. Please, if you are running late, call the course and let them know. On the same line, Sun Hills is asking that we arrive about 10 minutes or more BEFORE our tee times. This allows for enough time to check in, pay, get loaded on our carts and on the tee at our designated time. These requests are not unreasonable.
Also, yesterday there were non league players mixed in with our league after 3:30. We have talked with Chris about this and there are some issues that the Board needs to meet on about this.
We will meet and get something out to you all within the week.
Just know that Sun Hills is doing all they can to make our league successful and we need to reciprocate. You'll hear from us soon.
Thanks for making our league one of the premier leagues in Utah!

DICE ROLL
Hey Ladies!
This week is the DICE ROLL play of the day. As was suggested by some ladies, we eliminated using the putter for a tee shot.
Since this is just a fun and wacky game, it is NOT a postable score.
Just roll your dice, use the club corresponding to the number you roll, and let 'er rip! Pay off will be the best scores per flight. Nothing special there.
OH YEAH! DON'T FORGET TO GET YOUR DICE WHEN YOU CHECK IN!!!
HAVE FUN!!!! =)

TRY IT AGAIN - RESCHEDULE
Hi again,
At the Member/Guest last week, a vote was taken to reschedule this event. Sun Hills was generous to set aside half the course so we could do this.
We will have another try on July 14th. It will be a 5:30 shotgun start, a 2-women scramble and all normal fee will apply (including $3 per/player).
We won't be serving dinner on that night.
A sign-up sheet will be on our table for Wednesday's play. Please sign-up.
Needless to say, there will be numerous reminders!

BUMMER!
Well, I don't know what the deal is with Member/Guest and June, but I don't think it is meant to be.
Although Mother Nature #$%&$ on us again, we had about 2/3 of the ladies and guests who were signed up come out anyway. We had a successful "Rally" raising over $1,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Cleveland Golf donated a really nice golf bag in the name of the Rally for the "Closest to the Hole" prize. We didn't let the weather get in the way of that competition...all those who were eligible played a 165yard WII hole. Jill Lunceford was the lucky winner with a shot that was ony 5 1/2 inches from the hole!
Dinner was good also. Fortunately, even though we had 20 no shows, we didn't have to waste any food. That rousing WII competition kept the metabolism up!
Thanks for all of the support you ladies give the league. Without you and your enthusiasm, the league wouldn't be what it is.
Pictures forthcoming!

DON'T WIMP OUT!
Ladies, i just watched the forecast for tomorrow and there is a possibility of thunder showers. If this proves to be true and you have signed up for Member/Guest, please come over to Sun Hills anyway. We will still have some stuff planned...Rally, dinner, WI Golf (??? Tacey's idea), putting contests, and whatever.
We have purchased food, and everything, so please come eat and socialize.
Thanks for your support!!!

Hi Ladies!
Those of you who signed up for Member/Guest, we have 2 favors:

2. EVERYONE PLEASE WEAR PINK!
Thanks and we will see you Wednesday at 5:00

NEW LEAGUE RULE FOR NATIVE GRASS
Ladies, We're sure that by now all of you have noticed that the NATIVE GRASS has not been cut this year. We have been informed by Management that it will not be cut or watered this year. So in order to speed up play, the Board has voted to reinstate the rule that we made a few years back when the NATIVE GRASS was handled the same way.
That is, if your ball lands in the NATIVE GRASS, and after spending no more than 5 minutes unsuccessfully searching for it, please treat it as if it was lost in a HAZARD and not as a LOST BALL.
In doing so, you will take a drop 2 clubs lengths from where your ball crossed into the NATIVE GRASS rather than going back to re-hit the ball. You will still have to take one penalty stroke.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment on this post.
Thanks for your support and understanding.

June 9th - CHICAGO PUTTS
Greetings! Below are the winners of this week's "Chicago Putts". My hat's off to all of you winners. It was no easy task putting on the slooooooow greens we have right now.
Also, the wind blew away the "Closest to the Hole" marker for hole 6. I remember that there were two names on it when we came through at around 4:45. If anyone was a 3rd or 4th signer, please let me know with a comment to this post. Also, who ever signed it 2nd let me know so that in case no one beat you, I can give you credit. (Clear as mud, right?) Thanks for your help!

WHO CHECKS THE CHECKER?
Hi Ladies<
I got asked recently when a typo was discovered..."Who checks the checker?". My answer was "ME". Well, I have discovered a typo on the POD post for last week: In the c Flight, I have Cindy Atkinson with a 46 when in fact she had a 48 a long with the other 3 ladies she tied with.
Hopefully, all is forgiven...

MEMBER GUEST
Just a reminder that this week is the deadline for Member/Guest sign-ups. If you have a guest, please indicate this on the sign up sheet. REMEMBER...YOU DON'T NEED TO BRING A GUEST TO PLAY. It is a 2 Lady Scramble.
We are also having a "RALLY FOR THE CURE" that night. It is strictly voluntary.
We need an accurate count for dinners, so please commit this week.
THANKS!
