NEW LEAGUE RULE FOR NATIVE GRASS

Ladies, We're sure that by now all of you have noticed that the NATIVE GRASS has not been cut this year. We have been informed by Management that it will not be cut or watered this year. So in order to speed up play, the Board has voted to reinstate the rule that we made a few years back when the NATIVE GRASS was handled the same way.

That is, if your ball lands in the NATIVE GRASS, and after spending no more than 5 minutes unsuccessfully searching for it, please treat it as if it was lost in a HAZARD and not as a LOST BALL.

In doing so, you will take a drop 2 clubs lengths from where your ball crossed into the NATIVE GRASS rather than going back to re-hit the ball. You will still have to take one penalty stroke.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment on this post.

Thanks for your support and understanding.
