Well, MN finally cooperated last night and we got to play! It was a great day and I hope everyone enjoyed the great weather. Just to give you all a timeline, I will be posting the POD winners on Saturday. If something happens, I will let you all know.

Guess what? It's Wednesday and it's raining! Therfore, golf is cancelled for this week. The old battle axe, Mother Nature wins again!

Well, good old Mother Nature seems to still have a bone to pick with Wednesdays. The weather was crummy and although we didn't cancel golf, most of the league thought a warm blanky and good book sounded darn good.

I do have to congratulate 2 of our newest members, Marie and Stacey for having the foresight to golf earlier in the day. They managed to get 18 holes in (which we will post). Jill, Deb, Ali, Sharon (newby), Jane (newby), Tacey, Mindy, Judi and I (Dodie) all showed up. We had a fun visit and went home! :-(. Marie and Stacey, you will get credit for your weekly fees so you won't have to pay next week.

For those of you who didn't make your T-Times for next week, they didn't automatically carry over, so please call Sun Hills and get them made. One thing to let you know, since there is the last leg of the Northridge High School tourney at Sun Hills next week, we will all be golfing on the back 9. So call quickly for a good choice of times.

So for this week, think good thoughts and hopefully MN will cooperate next week!

We would like to thank all of you who attended the 2009 Opening Social and who signed up for the league this year but were unable to attend. It appeared that a good time was had by all.

Again, we would like to welcome the new ladies to our league. We always like to see our membership grow!
