MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Ladies, You may have noticed that on the Play of the Day for the past month or so, there has been one side that only has 2 flights and only 2 or 3 places in the flights. This is due to a very low participation. The maximum players we have been seeing each week is only around 50-55. What happens is that we can't fill up both sides with enough ladies make both sides competitive. It also allows alot of players that aren't on our league to go out between our groups. This creates very slow play and frustration to many.

Therefore, beginning on the 15th of July, we will only be playing one side. Sun Hills told us that they would give us one side a week and would not book non-league players until our members had the opportunity to schedule t-times.

This means that the ladies who play 18 holes will only be doing a POD for the side everyone is playing. You can continue playing 18, and we will post the 18 hole score for you. Also, it leaves us extra money for Closest to the Hole contest, so we will be increasing those to $15 per hole.

An one other item to mention. If we have a bunch of twosomes playing, we may have to join one another if we have an unusually busy week. This will enable us to get to know other members of our league so that can't be too bad. It will also keep pace of play moving.

If weekly play starts to increase enough to warrant playing and paying both sides again, we will happily do so.

If you have friends on the league that don't have internet, please pass this on to them. We will also send an e-mail blast to remind ladies to check the BLOG!

Thanks for your understanding. Please make comments if you like. You can also e-mail if you don't want your comments public.

You all make this a great league!
