September 16, 2009 LOW GROSS

Greetings! Here are the POD winners for past week's Low Gross. CONGRATULATIONS!

Again due to a lighter turnout, we only have 3 flights. Remind your league friends that we still have 2 more weeks left to play so come on out and enjoy Autumn golf!

I have noted on the posting that there is no "Closest to the Hole" this week. We had somebody who is not a member of the league write her name on the markers and put them so close to the hole that no league members had beat her when we came through. In fairness to the entire league, I pulled the markers. If anyone sees a non-member writing on the markers, please inform them that they are for league play only. Thanks for your understanding and support!

ANNOUNCEMENT!

This is to inform you that effective this week Sun Hills will no longer be holding a side open for us for the rest of September. Since participation has dropped off, they have no choice. We want to thank Mori, Kats and the Sun Hills staff for their generosity.

Also, it has been brought to our attention that we have ladies golfing in 5 somes. This is against course policy and we would ask that the ladies who are doing this to please don't join your groups together in the future.

There are just 3 weeks of league left, so don't waste them!!!!

Below are the results from last Wednesday's Low Net POD. As you look at it, some may wonder why your scores may have changed or you didn't place. Some of you used the Index rather than the Course Handicap. Some rounded rather than writing the ".5" on the recap sheet. If you have a question that can't be answered by the statement above, please call, email or comment on this post.

Also, there were only 27 ladies playing this past week so I could only do 3 flights. Let's keep coming out for the remaining time we have left.
