Due to a scheduling issue, BEAUTY & THE BEAST HAS BEEN MOVED TO SEPTEMBER 1st.
There will be a sign up sheet and flyers at the course for the next couple of weeks. Please check with your favorite "BEAST" and come out for some fun.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
The Club Championship is finally upon us. We'd like to thank all of you who signed up for this event. We will practically fill up the entire course.
Sun Hills is kind enough to give us the course in the afternoon so, in respect to them, if anything comes up that will prevent any of you who signed up from coming out on Wednesday, PLEASE EITHER COMMENT ON THIS POST OR EMAIL DODIE at:

Club Championship Answer
We had a member ask why we decided to go to a one day, 18 hole, middle afternoon Club Championship...
In the beginning, we had the Club Championship on Saturday. It got to a point that we only had around 12 ladies playing. since this really wasn't working...
At a Closing Social 6 or so years ago, we took a vote and decided to attempt a Club Championship that went for 2 weeks and ladies golfed their regular time. That presented the problem of some ladies only being able to play 1 or the 2 weeks, or getting rained out for sone and not others, and on and on. So...
We brought this dilemma up at another Closing Social and voted to have a one day, 18 hole, Wednesday PM Club Championship. Sun Hills agreed to close the course for us so we wouldn't have others playing in the middle of us.
Since that time, we have had record numbers of participants and, we feel, a true test for the Championship.
We have set the date for this Championship early so any lady who works could schedule it off.
If anyone wants to revisit how the Club Championship is held, please feel free to bring it up at the Closing Social.
