CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

Hi All,

Well the Club Championship is just around the corner - August 11th. Doesn't it just seem like we just started playing?

Remember the qualifications you need in order to compete in the Club Championship...

1. Must have a valid, 18 hole UGA handicap
2. Sun Hills must be your home course OR you must be multiple listed with Sun Hills
3. You MUST have played in at 8 weekly events.

There will be no exceptions as they are in the League By-Laws.

However, if you fall short of the 8 weekly PODs, you can come out and play as a "pacer". You just won't be eligible for the Championship.

We will have a 2:00 shot gun start. Sun Hills will be closing the course for us that afternoon. Dinner will be served after play.

There will be a sign-up sheet on our table on Wednesday. It is very important that you sign up if you plan to play. We need a firm count in order to make pairings (we will make every attempt to keep you with your normal playing partners) and plan for food.

IF YOU ARE NOT SURE IF YOU WILL BE PLAYING, DON'T SIGN UP UNTIL YOU KNOW FOR SURE.

In the past we have had an unacceptable number of "no shows". With Sun Hills kindly giving us the entire course for an afternoon, we must be able to show them our appreciation by not taking advantage of them
